These versions of the Knoppix Linux CD are for the following platforms:
V1.01
November 15, 1996
1. Original version.
2. "Maximum Linux" edition, the first to attempt to install Linux from the CD.
3. "Yellow Dog" edition, the first version to attempt to install Linux from the CD while running on the CD itself.
4. Has a WYSIWYG Text Editor (based on EDLIN).
5. Has simple GUI installation.
6. Installation has been made possible by the "initrd" technology (initrd used to be a non-standard feature of Linux).
7. Version 1.01 only contains an old version of lynx and a special "local root file system" version of WYSIWYG Text Editor.
V1.02
May 24, 1996
